Abstract

The emancipation of women garment factory workers in Jepara Regency has had a paradoxical impact. On the one hand, it has a positive impact on improving the economy and prosperity, but on the other hand there are many negative impacts such as work-home life imbalance, psychological pressure, and even divorce. This research aims to discuss women's emancipation which has an impact on divorce on garment factory workers in Jepara Regency. The type of research is library research. The research approach used is qualitative. Data collection techniques use literature and documents obtained via the internet or online news. Data is presented starting from data collection, data reduction, data analysis, to data presentation. As a result, the emancipation of women garment factory workers in Jepara Regency could have an impact on divorce. Divorce has become something that is considered a trend for female factory workers. Because there are various factors such as economic factors, social resistance, work-home life imbalance, and psychological pressure.
