Pengakuan HAM Sebagai Perwujudan Demokrasi Serta Penengah Problematika Antara Kelompok Mayoritas dan Minoritas
Abstract
This article explains further how there is recognition of Human Rights (HAM), as a form of realizing democracy and mediating problems between minority groups and minority groups. The problems experienced by majority groups and minority groups are not a simple matter because in this case it concerns justice and equal position, there are times when the majority group claims that their group has a big role in group and nation development because the number of that group dominates, On the other hand, it is seen that minority groups demand equal treatment and services regarding their rights, especially human rights and rights as citizens. As a result, this problem experiences an imbalance where there are many demands from minority groups that cannot be tolerated by the majority group. The research method used to analyze the objectives or problem formulation above is to use a qualitative method with a case study type, collecting primary and secondary data and analyzing several books and journals as additional reference material. The results of the observations in this paper reveal a lack of human rights, especially for minority groups compared to majority groups whose status dominates various groups. The recommendation of this article is that the majority group should be more able to respect the existence of minority groups in their area, even between the majority and minority groups they should have the same position and recognize the same rights before the law as well as within society itself.
