Viewers' Perception of Habib Ja'far's Religious Moderation Concept in the "Log In" Content on Deddy Corbuzier's YouTube Channel

Abstract

The objective of this article is to ascertain the concept of Habib Ja'far's religious moderation as presented in the "Log In" content on Deddy Corbuzier's YouTube Channel. Additionally, this article aims to identify the five viewers' perceptions of Habib Ja'far's concept of religious moderation as presented in the "Log In" content on Deddy Corbuzier's YouTube Channel. This article employs a qualitative approach, utilising a literature method, to analyse the "Log In" content on Deddy Corbuzier's YouTube Channel. The findings indicate that the concept of religious moderation as espoused by Habib Ja'far is one of religious moderation related to tolerance. Religious moderation is characterised by a fair and balanced approach to the viewing, responding to and practising of all existing concepts. According to Habib Ja'far, religious people must be moderate and not espouse a moderate religion. Furthermore, Habib Ja'far made an appeal for understanding of Islam that does not exceed the boundaries of Islam, in order to prevent the creation of the perception that Islam is the exclusive true religion in comparison to other religions. In the context of social media, the term "audience" is also used to refer to the general public. YouTube is one of the social media platforms used to share videos with the intention of providing entertainment, education, and other forms of engagement. Deddy Corbuzier's YouTube channel is one of the accounts on the platform that employs social media as a forum for discourse between religious communities. This can be found in the "Log In" program contained in the "Close The Door" podcast. Deddy Corbuzier's YouTube channel provides a wealth of information and knowledge about religion, as conveyed by Habib Ja'far. Furthermore, Habib Ja'far expounded upon the significance of tolerance between religious communities, as espoused in Islam, which teaches love and mercy for the universe.

Persepsi Viewers Terhadap Konsep Moderasi Beragama Habib Ja’far di Konten “Log In” dalam Channel YouTube Deddy Corbuzier. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konsep moderasi beragama Habib Ja’far di konten “Log In” dalam Channel YouTube Deddy Corbuzier, serta untuk mengetahui persepsi lima viewers terhadap konsep moderasi beragama Habib Ja’far di konten “Log In” dalam Channel YouTube Deddy Corbuzier. Artikel ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode kepustakaan yang dilakukan pada konten “Log In” di Channel YouTube Deddy Corbuzier. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa konsep moderasi beragama yang dilakukan oleh Habib Ja’far adalah moderasi beragama yang berkaitan dengan toleransi. Moderasi beragama ialah adil dan berimbang dalam memandang, menyikapi dan mempraktekkan semua konsep yang ada. Menurut Habib Ja’far, umat beragama haruslah menjadi moderat dan bukan agama yang moderat. Selain itu, Habib Ja’far juga memberikan himbauan tentang pemahaman agama Islam yang tidak melebihi keislaman, supaya tidak menimbulkan pandangan bahwa Islam adalah agama yang benar dibandingkan dengan agama lainnya. Dalam media sosial, seorang audiens juga disebut sebagai seorang viewers. Media sosial YouTube merupakan salah satu media yang digunakan untuk berbagi video yang memiliki tujuan untuk menghibur, mengedukasi dan lainnya.Channel YouTube Deddy Corbuzier menjadi salah satu akun YouTube yang memanfaatkan media sosial sebagai ruang diskusi antara agama satu dengan yang lainnya. Hal ini terdapat pada program “Log In” yang terdapat dalam podcast “Close The Door”. Melalui channel YouTube Deddy Corbuzier, Habib Ja’far memberikan banyak informasi serta ilmu-ilmu mengenai keagamaan. Selain itu, Habib Ja’far juga menyampaikan pentingnya toleransi antar umat beragama, sebagaimana yang telah diajarakan dalam agama islam tentang cinta kasih dan rahmat bagi alam semesta.
