Pengaruh Problem Based Learning Terintegrasi Nilai-Nilai Keislaman Terhadap Keterampilan Komunikasi Siswa Pada Materi Sistem Pernapasan

Abstract


The lack of communication skills among students during learning makes it difficult for them to connect ideas from the material to problems or events in their surroundings. Therefore, communication skills need to be enhanced so that students can express ideas and concepts, which is essential for developing understanding and maintaining meaning as an implementation of students' competencies and skills in 21st-century learning. This study aims to examine the effect of the Problem Based Learning model integrated with Islamic values on students' written communication skills regarding the respiratory system material. The research method used in this study is a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group. Data collection techniques included objective tests and observation sheets, and the analysis employed was quantitative analysis. The results showed that students' communication skills, based on the Mann-Whitney test, yielded an Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.001 < 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning model integrated with Islamic values has a positive and strong impact on students' communication skills regarding the respiratory system material for eleventh-grade students.
