AR-KIMUNO: Augmented Reality-Kimia UNO Terintegrasi Kearifan Lokal Pada Pembelajaran Ikatan Kimia

Abstract


The concept of chemical bonds includes three levels of representation so it requires a good understanding to fully understand chemical bonds. Moreover, currently available learning resources are still focused on abstract concepts without being integrated with local wisdom through students' daily experiences. So it is difficult for students to understand chemical bonding material because the abstract concepts and learning resources used do not fully cover the three levels of chemical representation that are integrated with local wisdom. The aim of this research is to visualize the three levels of representation integrated with local wisdom through the learning media AR-KIMUNO: augmented reality-chemistry uno on 

chemical bonding material. This type of research is media development which refers to the development of D&D (Design and Development).  The instruments used in this research were literature studies, observations and validity questionnaires. The data collected was analyzed using the Aiken's V analysis technique. The product of this research is AR-KIMUNO learning media in the form of cards and applications on smartphones. The media expert validation results obtained were 0.93 with valid criteria and the material expert validation obtained validity of 0.85 with valid criteria, so that overall the AR-KIMUNO media integrated with local wisdom was valid and suitable for use in the learning process.  This research shows that learning media based on AR technology that is integrated with local wisdom can help educators explain chemical bonding material, help students visualize three levels of representation and create fun learning.
